Repair wood rot under external wooden sliding door track

Mark requested 3 quotes from Handymen in Darlinghurst

Wood under the track of an external wooden sliding door has rotted, causing the track to sink making the door hard to move.
The rotten wood needs replacing or repairing to provide a solid base for the door track. The adjacent wooden step is ok, as this was replaced several years ago.
Is it possible to remove the rotted wood under the track and simply replace or use something less susceptible to water? What other options are there to repair?
