my 6 year old carrier's weathermaker reverse cycle split ac trips when turned on for heating or cooling but works fine when just using the fan. it looks like there is some issue with its compressor as the trip is triggered when switched to heating or cooling mode.
i need a rough quotation and time frame when it can be reaired.
