Existing ~25mm copper gas pipe runs behind furnace to hot water service, pipe already has tee welded inline with ~100mm stub clamped/brazed shut at the end, presumably originally intended for future reconnection to ducted heater.
pipe distance to furnace would be less than one metre with a compression type fitting on the furnace end (i do not have original pipework or fittings to connect to this specific furnace, a >15 year old lennox), would also want an inline ball valve to be installed to shut off the gas connection to the furnace without disrupting hot water service.
system is under the floor, area is clear but approximately 1.3-1.6 metres headroom between joists and dirt below.
