We have gas central heating in the roof, the unit has recently been serviced but the problem has not been fixed. When the heater has been running for a while (an hour or so) it makes a very loud bang and the pilot light goes out. The burners have been cleaned, the pilot light has been moved closer to the burners, and the return air vent has been cleaned. We are happy to pay for the work if the problem is fixed, but do not wish to pay if the problem is not fixed.
