I have an old but working Stadt ducted heating system. For repairing the cooktop the gas switch was turned off. However, when the gas switch is turned back to on I cannot turn the knob of the Stadt ducted heater to the pilot position. (That is, I cannot ignite the heater now.) The knob seems to be blocked by the lid. If you have an email address I can show the photo of the knob to you.
