I have a vulcan gas wall heater, the pilot light will start and stay on, but when the burners ignite after a few minutes everything gas turns off. The fan never switches on. Last night heating stopped working. I couldn't turn it on or off. Small battery icon was displayed on the regulator on the wall. After one hour everything disappeared and could not see anything on... Unit is approx 20 years old from Southern Heating. Have held pilot switch down for a number of minutes with flame burning, as soon as I let the switch go the flame goes out.
