I have an omega central heating unit, which has been installed circa early 90's. this unit now is making what my neighbours believe too much noice at night and keeping them awake. it seems when the burner kicks in this is particularly louder and therefore a distraction at night. can someone please advise as to what is the best solution? i do not want to purchase a new one as it is not broken and also i do not wish to relocate it to another part of the house as there is no capacity for it. a sound board has been suggested but this would cause some probs if not erected correctedly. please advise.
