Repair Vulcan heater- i think it's the thermostat.

The heater (vulcan wf) has been working perfectly until saturday. the piolot light extinguishes itself and the fan does not start. we thought that the fan may be too dusty, so we cleaned everything out (took the fittings off and cleaned inside the heater and around the fan) but the heater still doesn't work. my guess is that the thermostat needs replacing, as the fan does not start, and the heater over-heats and turns itself off. i could be wrong, but it seems to make sense.
