When the heater reaches the desired set temperature and stops as it should, it will not later on restart as the pilot light goes out.
note: when i stop the heater by turning the thermostat to off the heater stops as it should and will also restart when it is turned on again.
the pilot light only goes out when the heater reaches the set temperature on the themostat.
having said this i feel the problem is very minor.
