Vulcan Upright Gas Heater Repair Needed

My Gas Vulcan Upright Heater is working, however the emergency cut off valve seems to kick in once the automatic fan starts blowing hot air, out the bottom of the heater. It seems that the gas safety trigget is activating and or may have something to do with the thermostat thingy.
