I've been advised that in order to operate the lamp without any electrical issues, it needs to be rewired to be compatible with the power grid in Australia. I was wanting to know if this advice is correct? And if it is, I can read the exact specifications on the bottom of the lamp to clarify whether it is compatible or not, because I have no idea about electrical issues like this. The sticker on the bottom says: "120V 60Hz AC Only. Class 2 Max 10W" So my question basically is, can I plug this appliance into a simple US-AU travel adapter and have no issues, or do I need it rewired? Thanks in advance for your help.
