My laminate benches have holes, scratches and one dint in them. they have a wooden surround so i would like the laminate removed and new laminate glued on to replace it or a very cheap granite,... My laminate benches have holes, scratches and one dint in them. they have a wooden surround so i would like the laminate removed and new laminate glued on to replace it or a very cheap granite, resin or similar skin put over the top of it. it is only a small u-shaped kitchen in a unit. one bench is 1995mm x 700mm (overhang for stools) one is 1450mm x 590mm (where the sink is) one is 980mm x 600mm (where the benchtop stove is). so all up 1995mm x 2745mm x 1970mm. bunnings quoted $2000 for their version of hard benches but it is way out of my budget. a friend who helped us do our floor tiles said it would cost about $500 to get the benches laminated (but couldn't recommend anyone)but i was hoping someone would have granite leftovers some one doesn't want anymore.
