The inlet pressure relief valve on my solar hot water system seems to be leaking. i could hear water running last night and found water running out of the drain from the pressure relief valve. i turned off the water to the hot water system and the water stopped running out of the drain. after an hour or so, i turned the water back on, the water wasn’t running as before, but it seemed to still be dripping. i checked the drain again this morning and it was still dripping, but now even quicker. the inlet pressure relief valve is located on an external upstairs veranda wall (about head height) and is easily accessible. it is also under cover.
