I have an alfresco area (covered) approx 3.96 x 2.73m which is a concrete slab. this comes off a loungeroom. i wish to deck this in treated pine however would like to extend the side that is currently 2.73 to about 8m in total from the door. total area then being 21.84 square metres. this is so we can place further funiture at the end but has to be strong enough to take a spa if this is placed here later. the extended part will only be 10-20cm off the ground as the existing slab is only this high. i am happy to stain the timber myself upon completion. i would like the timber decking layed horizontally in one peice, it may require a few extra pieces however would look better as it is only a small area. thanks shane 0411 425 424
