We have plans already approved to build a 4 bedroom home on the South Coast at Callala Bay. We are seeking a builder to complete the whole project. Demolition of a large shed and boat port is required plus the removal of several trees before earth works and construction can begin. It is an easily accessed flat site. The home is not standard in that the ceilings are higher than the norm and all doorways are wider to allow wheelchair access. The central area has a vaulted ceiling and is very open plan. There are wooden doors and windows, including some bay throughout. It is of brick construction. The home has one family bathroom and an ensuite(again wheelchair access is essential) plus kitchen, lounge, dining, the 4 bedrooms all with built-ins, laundry, small front veranda and provisions for enclosed /screened room at rear. We need to liaise with a builder who is flexible and creative. eg. finishes and small ammendments to current plan which we shall submit prior to commencement of works. Having owner/built twice we are fully aware that it is frustrating and time consuming to make changes during the actual construction. We have several copies of the plans already so can mail immediately to interested prospective builders for quotes to be submitted.
