I have several old (1920s-1950s) ceramic lamps that I'd like to have rewired. One has various pieces (ceramic lamp base, metal base, metal rod, harp, etc.) that needs assembling, plus needs new... I have several old (1920s-1950s) ceramic lamps that I'd like to have rewired. One has various pieces (ceramic lamp base, metal base, metal rod, harp, etc.) that needs assembling, plus needs new electical guts, socket, cord, plug. 2 have the ceramic base, socket and switch, but need new cord, plug and any alterations needed for what were originally US lamps to work in Australia. One is just a ceramic shell, with nothing else. Then, I also have an old Australian desk lamp (1930s, I'm guessing) that--at the least--needs its cord replaced, but needs also to be tested for safety before use. I'd like for someone to take a look at these, let me know which of these can be fixed, and give me a quotation for labour and parts, as well as an estimate for when they can be done. What I've listed as budget may be too low to cover all of these. . . but I've been told that some of these might not be fixable.
