The roof area is about 130-140m2 and has a single gable, as well as two other pitch changes. The joists and battens that are visible from the ceiling manhole look sound (but there are a few areas that are not visible). There is no sarking to most of the existing roof and, while the gutters are in good order, they will need to be re-levelled and some of the facia they are attached to is water damaged. There are solar panels on the roof that will need to be removed and reinstalled upon completion of the job. I want to have the tiles replaced with Colourbond. Subject to receiving acceptable quotes, I want to get this work done in the next couple of months. I have not yet sorted out building permits and would need the contractor's assistance with that. There is no heritage overlay affecting the home.
