We need detailed drawings, build specifications, and any design refinements (to fall within the parameters of the Permit granted) suitable for competively procuring a builder. The Architect would also, in conjction with the preparation of detailed plans, prepare specifications fit-for subsequent RFQ purposes and contracting a builder. The Architect would provide an industry-standard for of builder contract, assist the owner in builder selection and act for the owner providing builder contract compliance oversight, milestone sign-off, and build issue resolution with the builder. The Planning Permit docs are attached. If possible, I would like to meet the preferred Architect in Melbourne on the 15th or 16th of May. For noting, we are separately engaging a Land Surveyor to simultaneously progress the subdivision of the Lot under the Planning Permit already granted. This job is to involve the Surveyor, on our behalf, to do what is required to obtain a Certified Plan of Subdivision, a Statement of Compliance, and subsequent lodgement at Land Victoria. The surveyor will also provide advice that we might need to include in builder specifications regarding the provision of services to the secondary dwelling where it is intended to become an independent dwelling on it's own title.
