It was made pretty with some structural repairs done 5 years ago to address heavy termite damage and made to look nice but the fact remains that some serious structural issues are likely present - i.e the footings are currently quite slanted. In retrospect we should have knocked down 5 years ago but as first home buyers we weren't ready for this financially. We are in a position now and so would like to get some quotes for a structural engineer report to highlight the issues to help us achieve our goal of knocking down in 1-3 years after we have received approvals etc etc. Please quote price for site visit, preparation of report and the estimated length of report etc.
