Some glass has fallen out but most was held in place even though it's all shattered and needs to be entirely replaced. Internal glass appears to be undamaged and the oven door itself works fine. So, only that external panel is a problem.

Recently their population has exploded, judging by their noisy nocturnal territorial disputes, and somehow one family has gnawed an access hole into my ceiling - though I am baffled as to where this is. A council-provided trap has caught a cat and numerous cockatoos, but no possums. Obviously what is needed is to locate their entry point, remove them and seal it against further invasion. NB: Heathcote Junction is 30 mins from Epping - not to be confused with Heathcote.

I have a double fireplace with a Coonara-type heater in one room back-to-back with an unused open fireplace behind it in the other room. The Coonara is used only occasionally. Lately it has begun... Lately it has begun to let smoke out into the room whenever the door is opened to tend to the fire, so I assume the flue is partially blocked with creasote or whatever. The chimney is in the centre of the house rather than against an outside wall; viewed from inside it appears to be a traditional brick chimney, but from the outside the only thing poking through the roof is a metal flue.
