I need a serviceman to replace my faulty ATA door opener, installed 15 years ago. The replacement I am seeking is an ATA GDO-9v2 Enduro GEN2, with the 5-year warranty. The existing door is about 15 years old. My garage door is operated by a Tilt-a-door Model T300, powered by an ATA Securalift Automatic Garage Door Opener, Model GDO-2V4. My garage door is 4.57m x 2.30 m (10.5 m2). The Tilt-a-door Model T300 is in good working order but the old ATA Securalift is faulty. My automatic door always fails to close. The door now stops half way to the floor and reverses to fully open. In addition, both remote controls require several presses to start the door opening, especially in the early morning. Increasing the Force Margin does not help, and cleaning and lubricating the Tilt-a-door makes little difference. The garage door never fails to open. The door opens and closes smoothly when disconnected from the chain. Closing the door was never entirely reliable but became less and less reliable in recent years.
