The works require fittings i.e. T-Junction in the existing cold water line, a ball valve for the filter and connectors. A whole would require to be drilled in the current slab / sink for installing the filter outlet tap. I have got it done few years ago at my place the same and now I need to get it done at my friend's place at Mango Hill QLD. It also require a double GPO for electrical connection for the filter. There is a single GPO next to it for dishwasher though.
