We are renovating our kitchen. The gas cooktop & electric stove are shifting to a different wall in the new setup. Plus a new canopy rangehood is being installed. So before the kitchen demolition... We are renovating our kitchen. The gas cooktop & electric stove are shifting to a different wall in the new setup. Plus a new canopy rangehood is being installed. So before the kitchen demolition work starts, the current gas line needs to be capped off, the water supply to the sink needs to be cut off, the waste pipe of the sink needs to be shifted a little to the left between the two water inlet pipes (currently it is on the right of the pipes & will interfere with the new cabinets) & the gas line to the new cooktop needs to be pulled out & up from the ground (Pls note there is a gas pipeline in the ground at the point where the new cooktop is being put (as we had a gas room heater there) - the line needs to only be pulled out n up till the kitchen cabinet height). After the cabinets are fixed by the cabinet makers, the sink needs to be fixed & connected, the dishwasher's waste pipe needs to be connected, the new cooktop needs to be connected & the rangehood flu kit needs to be installed for the new rangehood (pls note the rangehood will be fixed to the wall by the cabinet makers - only the flu kit needs to be installed by the plumbers).
