Damper is in closed position even when power is switched off to unit from circuit board. Given zoning was hardly used in last 10yrs prefer it to be removed and duct piece connected to enable flow of heat over whole house as a single zone, the way it has been used till this issue.

Our Brivis Buffalo 15 central heating unit is not switching on. At the end of winter 2014 the central heating unit stopped switching on although the thermostat displayed that it was heating. The... Our Brivis Buffalo 15 central heating unit is not switching on. At the end of winter 2014 the central heating unit stopped switching on although the thermostat displayed that it was heating. The unit made a clicking noise when it was supposed to turn on but no heat was generated or circulated. A tradesman recommended we replace the thermostat - we did and the central heating unit began working. It has now stopped working again - we have only used the new thermostat for a short period of time, and the central heating unit is making a similar clicking noise when it tries to turn on. We would like to find the cause of this and have it repaired - it does not appear to be just a problem with the thermostat. Thanks.
