Hi, Looking for quotes from builders for a brick extension to a single fronted single level attached Victorian terrace property in inner north-west Melbourne. The attached plans explain the extension best in terms of size. In terms of scope, we are looking for a builder to complete: - Foundations, subfloor (stumps/joists/bearers), brick and timber walls, roof trusses and roof plumbing - Electrical and plumbing - Installation of doors and windows (1 set bi-folds and 1 window) - Plastering - Floorboards - Demolishing existing (although we may do this ourselves) So, essentially everything you see in the plans where it says ‘proposed’ except installation of the kitchen cabinets/benches. Other relevant information: - Have planning approval, currently obtaining building permit, expected within 1 week. - Access to the building area is good, with a rear laneway and car/truck/skip access. - Keen on someone who has experience with similar extensions on similar properties. - We are keen to start as early as possible (assuming building permit comes in next few weeks) - Keen for a quote within the next 2 weeks or so. - For the quote we have the architectural plans, structural plans, soil report, energy report, basically everything required to quote and build.
