A new L-shaped double riser needs to be installed onto rafters (30 degree pitch on roof, 400mm spacing between rafters, rafters 47mm thick). One of the galvanised bovara units or similar is what is needed. Cables need to be rehung from the current point of attachment to this new one. No new wiring or new cabling is needed, its all there in perfect condition, it just needs the new double riser bracket mounted and cables rehung onto it - thats it, nothing more. The existing cabling is only a year old, the rafters are perfect and there is more than enough length between current point of attachment and meter to do the job. No need to remove current bracket etc, I will do that when I put the roof tiles back in. The eave boards are already removed, rafter exposed, its any easy job. I don't care if you are a level 2 electrician or not, it needs to be done to a high standard and within the week. Its a 45 minute job at most.
