We have had various trades out to try to diagnose the issue. The restumper said we needed an underpinner, the underpinner said we needed a restumper and a guy who does both said we needed a bricklayer. * The house was restumped with concrete stumps in approx 2003. * The house is a single story, detatched weatherboard with wooden floorboards * The chimney is brick, that pokes out the top of the roof - and it is triangle shaped (ie there are 2 fireplaces on each of the 2 facings visible from inside the house * We have had a thorough analysis of the drainage done and there are no leaking pipes etc * There was a burst downpipe which has now been fixed (approx 8 weeks ago) * There is approx 450mm clearance under the house We need a comprehensive diagnosis of exactly what the issue is as a first step, so then we can fix it! Happy to send through photos as a first step. Unsure if we need a restumper, underpinner, engineer, surveyor.....!!
