Following a renovation, new weatherboards (about 20% of the wall) were fitted and the remaining old weatherboards were sanded, primed and painted with two coats of acrylic paint. In the last 12 months most of the old boards show de-lamination, and a lead paint test was positive. Some of the old de-laminating paint has been removed (using safety gear) but I am currently unable to complete this, because of other commitments. Please split the quote into: • paint removal from old weatherboards (the new boards don’t need attention) and preparation (filling and sanding) • undercoat and top coats (will provide paint for this) Can also provide photos of job if required.
