I am looking to landscape the front yard and driveway so the ground level at the front of the house is no longer above the damp course and air vents. The front porch joins the original house around... I am looking to landscape the front yard and driveway so the ground level at the front of the house is no longer above the damp course and air vents. The front porch joins the original house around 400 mm too high and the front yard (approx 16m x 5.5m) level is only 50 mm below this. The front yard also has an existing retaining wall set back 5.5m from the porch. This job will comprise of the following tasks: Demolish and remove front porch floor & foundations (I will take care of this) Disconnect and relocate existing gas line below new ground level as required. Disconnect and relocate existing water line below new ground level as required. Excavate / remove approx 350mm from top soil in front yard. Existing toilet at front corner of the house has the waste coming out of the floor air vent. This will need to be removed and reconnected to the mains below the bottom damp course. Construction of a new driveway, double car port and lawn area providing for drainage around the front of the house as required. Lay new concrete / pavers for the front porch and extend this around the side to the second entrance. Currently I am looking at many options and would welcome alternative designs / quotes.
