Mercedes CLK 320 (2000 model) - been advised water pump needs replacing

Recently had service and RWC done and 3 weeks later the car warned me of the coolant was low system topped it up thinking nothing of it. But it has happened twice in now in 2 weeks.
Took it to an ultra tune who said it was water pump - and there appears to be visible (dare I say) spray from the coolant inside the engine bay.
Obviously what they quoted me was too high especially given I could beat their "wholesale" price on the after market part alone by $80 (it's available from an australian website).
I just want a good job done that is good value for money - not be overcharged.
