  Hi,

I have been looking for a painter for a little while now and I'm havign trouble. Most don't answer so leave a message and don't get a call back. The one estimate we have had was what we considered pretty hefty for the job required and no response was given to my question of whether or not the quote included paint. So we're getting a bit over it and are ready to paint ourselves now, but thought i'd give one last attempt.

My partner and have purchased a new house and we eventually want to get the WHOLE house repainted (within the next 12 months) - we were going to do it right away, however we're now getting married in October so want to get the bedroom done first (because it's pink and we hate pink ;)!), and then in 6 months get the WHOLE house done (4 bedroom house - we will want a feature wall etc. - we know exactly what we want!), as well as exterior painting - but first the interior is of utmost importance. So we're looking for a reliable and reasonable painter that we can trust.

The house currently has tenants and we obtain possesion early June. We want to get the room painted prior to moving furniture in so the job would be for the 9th June.

The tenants are allowing us access for this Friday 8th May at midday to obtain quotes, however we would like a rough estimate first (obviously we know it's subject to wall condition etc..) but a rough price would be great.

The room is 3.5m x 3.6

We are also considering getting the bathroom roof repainted at the same time as it is cracked and peeling, so we want it repainted and sealed properly(bathroom size approx. 3m x 2 m).

Please provide estimates with AND without paint. We would be after the Duluxe Silk range for the walls (exact colour to be decided when we are able to put the sample pots on the wall, but it's a really light coffee colour, just choosing the right shade), with a darker chocolate colour for the cornices and skirting.
