1. wooden trim (skirts, windows & door frame) to be painted while throughout 4 bedroom house.
2. Loungeroom to have wallpaper removed, then ceiling & walls to lounge, kitchen repainted.
3. External sliding timber door to be stained.
Tradies are welcome to inspect job on Friday night/ Saturday to quote minimum 2 coats to walls & ceilings, and 3 coats (or whatever it takes) to cover wood trim.
We'll be ready to start once plastering has finished in approx 3 weeks.

Dealing with Fred was frustrating as he wouldn\'t listen or acknowledge me (the wife) but would take note of my husband (the bloke). Dave was a great painter and he spent time explaining things to me that I feel Fred should have. Painting was OK by some of the tradesmen in Fred's team (Dave\'s work was excellent), We agreed to let Fred's crew start a week early, but rooms we specifically asked not to be painted until they were packed away were started, and our property inside the house wasn't treated with respect or well covered during the painting. Open paint pots were left on our uncovered furniture, and coffee rings left on a table - although Dave did varnish the table so it looked brand new. The painters also did make sure our dogs were kept secure in the house when we were out. Over the course of a few weeks we had to remind Fred of finishes we'd been quoted for, and some work seemed rushed so now - after it's all over and they've left site. some of the paint coverage is less than ideal. We were left paint for touch ups, which there a quite a few so we'll have to do ourselves. There was also a lot of paint marks left on our floorboards which couldn't be polished out which is very disappointing. These guys weren't the cheapest quote we received, but they didn't give the quality of finish we were hoping for either. I wish we'd investigated the company more before choosing them - it certainly would have opened our eyes to a few things !!!!
