The entire perimeter of our house is to be underpinned , we have large cracks in 2 internal walls which will possibly need some sort of stabilisation to be determined by the builder doing the underpinning .we then need ceilings ,cornices and some wall repairs in6 rooms and a hall .I need advice on whether the installation of pressed metal ceilings might be an option . I would like preserve the hand made ceiling rises if possible. The underpinning us to begin in 2 months and will take about 8 weeks . We will be needing the work done over the next 12 months . We are keen to do thus properly with good trades people who know their stuff
