Hi.
I'm looking for someone to hopefully fix the ceiling in my bedroom (rather than completely replacing). I'm looking to get this done as cheaply as possibly - aren't we all?! - so open to suggestions and 'out of the box' style thinking.
I've taken posession of this property only a few days ago, so can only assume the details on what led to the ceiling being like this. It seems as though the hot water service stored in the roof may have had an issue of some description a time ago and for what ever reason the ceiling has required maintenance.
Rather than doing the job properly, someone has whacked some plaster up accompanied by a timber frame and painted over the top. Genius hey...
Looks awful, would love to try and make it less noticeable, and ideally fix so as it looks like a normal ceiling.
Hopeful that I can get people out to quote this Saturday (any time) and looking to complete the job some time between the next fortnight to month.
