I have renovated my home externally putting on a new roof. I had tarpaulins on for 7 weeks but have some rain damaged plaster. Thick style with hair 1960. I also had to install timber lintels to take load of roof so had to cut plaster to install them. It is a small house only 100 sqm. Lounge Room 6 * 4 metres the ceiling likely to need replacement. The job is part patch up and new ceiling in lounge room plus cornice work.

I hired Lock Building Group for major carpentry work. Manager Steve's customer service was excellent. The job was to pack up the top plate with MGP10 pine to make sure rafters were even for tiling installation.The also did the fascia boards. Over the two week period we had bad weather and the Carpenters Johnny, Rod, and Rhys completed the job under tarpaulins. Lock Building Group are used to time pressure because they do weather damaged properties - trees falling on roofs. My roof top plate was not entirely square - 1959 construction - the job was not straight forward. LBG Carpenters are very experienced and put in a great effort to compensate for a poorly constructed building in 1959. Steve took calls in the evening too to reassure me my job was high priority. I happily recommend LBG.
