Our ground floor apartment currently has noise issues from apartment above and we have removed the existing ceiling and fitted insulation. There are three rooms that have had the ceiling removed, one living room, one bedroom and a hallway. There is a total of 40sq/m to be plastered and the ceilings are 3.3m high.
I would like to use Studco resilient mounts with furring channel and 2 layers of 16mm plasterboard.
We have also selected a decorative cornice that we would like to use.
