Water comes down up to the manhole of the underground pipe through down pipes. But water doesn't drain into the concrete pit which is on the nature strip beyond the manhole of under ground storm water pipe. When the black plastic lid of the storm water pipe kept open water comes out of it, all the water is in the garden. But if the lid is kept closed it floods the drainage behind the garage door area. The Hume city council confirmed the concrete pit on the nature strip is not blocked. My neighbors don't have this problem.
