I just bought a new place and the gas central heating does not work. I think it's because the pilot light needs to be turned on. Only problem is that the pilot light is on the roof, and the townhouse is 3 stories high. So I need someone who's prepared to climb onto the roof.
One guy came out and disconnected the wires on the control (because it just causes cold air to blow out the vents when it's switched on), and he wasn't prepared to climb onto the roof.
