Hot water unit (rheem 31 series, gas) is malfunctioning. need to get 3 quotes for the job. just quote at this stage. problem is with water function of unit (not gas), the water in from the temper valve is boiling and spilling out through the top of the unit. use of release valve doesn't help. i have turned off the unit, and the gas and water inputs, pending repair. please arrange to inspect, and let me know how much it will cost to fix, or whether a new one is required. thanks.
