very expensive! quoted $800 for a simple job which wouldn't take longer than a couple of hours! the plumber who was to do this job earlier but had to go away due to an emergency, gave a rough estimate of around $200! <p><b>Response from provider:</b><p>Client price expectations were unrealistic and wouldn't accept that callout charges (that are fairly standard across the industry) would be required to provide a quote, nor did he accept a subsequently provided quote. I am of the belief that the client thinks Service Central is a service that provides sub contractors and not independent businesses as he mentioned something of knowing what it costs to get trades but by not knowing anything at all about the standard call out charges, he clearly doesn't.
