The unit is to be plumbed into an existing heat pump hot water system (which is less than 2 years old). The solar unit will become the primary heating source with the heat pump acting as booster/backup. Please see the attached diagram of what is required. The solar unit is approx 3-4 meters away from the hot water tank. No electrical work is required (a suitable power point for the controller is already near the hot water unit). You will need to supply the copper pipping and any connecters that are required and do not already come with the system. Happy for you to quote labour as either an hour rate or fixed price. If providing an hourly rate can you give me a rough indication of how long you think it may take and I understand this would be an estimate only without seeing the job.
