Hence they retain quite a lot of standing water (today, after little rain lately and some warmer temperatures & sunshine the last few days there is still over 20mm sitting) which doesn't run to the down pipe. This in turn has left quite a bit of sludge (mostly from bird crap). Some basic investigation with a spirit level shows the sections are in fact level and if I understand correctly they should slope slightly towards the down pipe, so I guess the sections need to be raised slightly at one end? Not sure if I need a roofer, plumber or just a general handyman type for this particular bit or work.

Nothing too complicated here hopefully. The mixer taps in the kitchen sink and bathroom sink respectively need replacing. I have acquired the new taps, but require the pros to replace the old.... Also both toilets are running, indicating a problem with the inner workings somewhere. So, they obviously need either repair of broken part or total replacement of the innards. Apparently the 'float' in the cistern can be different, both mine are the long plastic arm with the float at the end if that helps. I have not done anything about replacement parts here, because I have no idea what might be needed.
