New natural gas to existing LPG household
- Arrange for (book) gas meter from supplier - natural gas standpipe and supply is live to the house location.
- Supply and install hydronic boiler to replace existing raypak 147 (33kw or similar) as there are no conversion parts available for this model from raypak. It's possible a Baxi type 31kw might replace - HHS in Breaside (+613) 9588 1299 have apparrently supplied for this type of replacement previously, using a "luna3" circa $2200 supply. Reece commercial in Clayton +(03) 9544 7033 can supply raypak 147 to replace at around $2800 supply.
- Carry out LPG to natural conversion of a falcon range cooker. Parts for this conversion will be supplied.
- Install gas meter to stand pipe
- run new (poss reuse but sizing might be an issue) gas pipe from new meter to boiler (circa 15m via loft space) and to cooker located less than 5m from boiler location (route for this pipe TBC)
- Cap off existing one 19mm LPG gas pipe as this remains a service pipe for other installations.
Timing flexible but changeover required in one day if at all possible
