New Gas Service To Property

We have contacted AGL who advise us we need to have a plumber connect a valve pipe in order to have our gas service connected.
We need a gas connection for a cooktop in the kitchen. The connection is coming from a shopfront downstairs to a residence upstairs.
The shop front has a concrete footpath and I am told the gas service runs approx 500mm from the boundary.
The length of gas pipe required from gas meter to cooktop will be approx 15 metres and has easy access.
We will need the gas meter connected and the cooktop connected.
