Sadly this person was adamant I needed a builder as well, to remove a thin piece of MDF that was on one side of the "drop in" bath just to hide its base. This he told me twice after I sent him photos. Another plumber and myself know this not to be the case. I think that this company may have known a builder they wanted to work with though he did give me the choice to organise one myself It's really the simplest matter of taking a bath out and dropping in another, I can even do the "sideboard" myself. I was pretty sad that he didn't believe me, given all I told him. The bath is a drop in but not "Built in" to such an extent as to require a builder. It's really obvious that a handyman or the previous home owner just built "around" the bath in the cheapest way possible, thin board, and a thin small pine shelf. But thanks for prompt call. Didn't even get to price rating, knew it was pointless.
