Plumbing and gas-fitting for kitchen renovation

Paolo requested 2 quotes from Plumbers in Richmond

  (1) We have an existing kitchen and we require that its plumbing and gas pipes be reconfigured and added to so that our new kitchen renovation is completed. The kitchen renovation is currently scheduled to happen in 6 to 7 weeks time, and we have just approved a quote for the new cabinets. We wish to coordinate plumbing works to tie in with the new cabinet works as well, if possible, though installation of plumbing and gas could possibly happen after (or more preferably before) the kitchen cabinets go in. Either way, there may have to be a two stage (rough in and fitting off) process. The current kitchen has wall taps in a solid brick wall, and a floor-mounted gas stove next to the sink. The new kitchen configuration will keep the sink largely in the same position, but the taps will change to bench-mounted (mixer). The gas will need to be run to a new position about a metre (or so) away, and will feed a gas cooktop. The new under-bench oven will be electric. The solid brick wall in which the current kitchen taps are located and the drainage to the kitchen sink passes through is an external wall of the building. However, our flat is located one floor up, so a ladder may be required if any works need to happen out there. We will require a quote for this work.
We also have a couple of associated jobs which the plumber/gas-fitter may want to quote for also:
(2) Our current instantaneous gas hot-water system is very prone to having the pilot light go out. We are considering either having it looked at, or possibly replacing it with new (as there maybe, as we have been told, a government rebate which makes this cheap to do). We will require a separate quote for this work.
(3) We have a blocked bathroom basin which needs attention. The current basin drains into the existing 30mm pipe in the sold rick inernal riser wall. We have, since moving in 4 years ago, been draining our washing machine into this basin. Some time ago we had the plumbing to the basin adjusted to include an upstand pipe for the washing machine outlet to feed in to. However, the basin drainpipe has since become increasingly slow at draining and now does not drain. This has happenned before and has been looked at, but seems to have blocked again. We will require a separate quote for this work.
