Undertaking a bathroom reno commencing Mon 13 Sept. Need a plumber to:
(1) Relocate taps/plumbing/waste for washing machine/laundry to the opposite side of bathroom. This will require new waste & pipes to be installed either under the floor (it's on a concrete slab) or in the wall.
- Make any necessary modifications to plumbing for vanity and shower (these will remain in the same location as current plumbing but mixers are being installed)
- Install shower base (this is done before tiling) (currently there is a bath so a little bit of work will be required to connect the waste to the shower base)
- Clean out any pipes that are to remain (as they currently have a tendency to block and require ‘Draino’)
And then, after tiler has completed his work, to return and install/connect:
- vanity and taps
- showerscreen
- shower rail and mixer
- taps for laundry basin and washing machine (not mixers)
Timetable:
Mon 13th - tiler is stripping out
Tue 14 & Wed 15th - plumber & electrician
Thurs 16th - tiler
Fri 17th - tiler finishes tiling, plumber connects taps etc, electrician connects lights & power points
