Please read this carefully as I work from home and hard to get away at time to explain: The sewer was blocked at the drain that comes out from kitchen to back yard. When cleared i was shown a camera view which showed the pipe attached to that outlet has shifted, cracked and dropped. This needs replacing and lifting. It is situated under removable decking and one metre underground. That's one job. Secondly I saw a tree root, 16.4 metres toward back of house, broken thru pipe. This needs cutting and root x and possibly that pipe repaired - that pipe is TWO metres underground. (However, builder next door knocking down fence soon and I know a 3 tonner can come thru that way BUT i also know cost of 3 tonner for a day's work). I have been advised by both a drainage expert who does not do household drains, AND a builder, this work should take no more than 1.5 days max (for BOTH jobs) or half a day for the first job. The first job may assist with also the root cutting and root x involved in second job. Do not want "sleeve" done for second job as cannot afford. Heard it's v. expensive. Apprentices or good young plumbers welcome as I am a single mum and sick of being ripped off. I leave feedback on ALL sites re ANY job.

didn't call me in time and when they did I had found someone. They told service Central they quoted me $300 and I refused it. That's utterly wrong. Firstly they never saw the job secondly they never quoted me.

FANTASTIC. I tell you what, just the nicest guys, listened intently, took notice, and gave it a lot of thought. Have not received their quote yet but know it will be fair and reasonable. Fantastic guys. Will use for small jobs in future too - the quote i am waiting on is for a major one but they have already said, and they don't know it, that it will be far less than the quote i was given by another "good feedback" plumber on this site.

Quoted me $6K for a $1895 job!!!! Here's the story: This gentleman came out on a Sunday and a very fair cost for a weekend. He was very reasonable and I have used him so many times before, I loved Vanna! BUT the job was turning out to be a big one and he quoted me $6000! I told my builder neighbour this and a drainage friend and they nearly died. I then went back to Vanna and when I told him I just needed to obtain a couple more quotes, withdrew his quote rather than offering another one. I found two other plumbers who quoted me the big job for a THIRD of Vanna's quote. So I would say Vanna is just wonderful for smaller jobs but big ones, well, a rip off, he tried to rip me off big time. I was really hurt by his quote as it was really exorbitant, and given i used him so much I thought he'd be a lot fairer. I can't seem to leave stars for this job which makes it look like all positive but i note another person unhappy. I'd give him three stars, probably 2.5.
