Repair broken outside water pipe

The underground water pipe near outside garden tap has sprung a slow leak. I have dug out a trench to expose where the beak is. It appears to be a copper pipe, approx 1 metre from garden tap. The part of the pipe that is broken has been laid over a rock and it appears that pipe has been pressed against the rock causinig it to be pierced.
