Repair on Vulcan gas heater

Vulcan indoor gas heater. Must be 2O years old the model and turns on with pilot light, then a turning knob on top. Has fan attatched which switches on with lever at bottom. This seems to have broken and therefore the gas does not get pushed out from heater. Automatically turns off once reached a certain temperature.

I have been very diapointed with this service. I was referred to a gas repair person who did not turn up twice. He then turned up at a time not arranged and overcharged me for basically telling me I needed a new heater. Call out fee was ridiculous and for 10 minutes stay he charged me for 1/2 hour. The repair man was sloppy and un professional, I would never use this service again!
